Delta Airlines emerges from Bankruptcy
Delta Airlines emerged from Bankruptcy today, after doing a total overhaul of their company. This restructuring phase occurred over the last 19 months, and has put in place to halve the company debt of almost 17$ billion by the end of 2007. This news helped to push the Dow up even more, which was up an additional 40 points at midday.
Look for this news to also help the major hubs of Delta, which include Salt Lake City and Atlanta. This could come in the form of increased jobs, or more efficient ways of handling the people and baggage.
